Nefra Nefra is the queen of a sand planet inhabited only by women.  The Drules had taken away the males from Nefra's planet to make them slaves on planet Veemah.  Fearful of the Drules, they have a well developed defense system (although little beknownst to Nefra, the weapons are provided by the Drule Empire).
	Uuba Uuba is the leader of the last remaining survivors of the Planet of the Red Sun.  They had evacuated and moved out when they were either attacked by the drules or forced out by natrual disaster (I will find out more when I get the Vehicle Voltron DVDs)
