Explorer Bridge Crew
Episode 34 - The Explorer Bridge Crew (minus Commander Hawkins) - Jeff is in the captain's chair in this picture.  I assume that the front three posts are the helm, behind them are two posts (right and left) statistical and communications.  The rear two posts (right an left) are tactical.
Vehicle Voltron - Explorer - Captain Newley Captain Newley   (John W. Newley)
Captain Newley commands the Explorer until his departure to Galaxy Garrison on a special mission.  He later rejoins the Explorer with a new support fleet.
Vehicle Voltron - Explorer - Commander Hawkins Commander Hawkins   (James Hawkins - per Devil's Due)
Commander Hawkins is the chief to Voltron Force Vehicle Team and second in command of the Explorer until Newley's departure. 
Vehicle Voltron - Explorer - Sparks? Ensign Sparks   (Joseph Sparks)
There are several versions of this character on the bridge of the Explorer, so his job title is not known.

This little robot walks around aimlessly and has a crush on all three of the female members of the Voltron Force.  His main function is unknown.
